Fire Pond

The fire pond is an original invention of ancestors during the farming period and has been inherited from generation to generation. The firepit structure is built to facilitate daily life. It usually has three functions. One is to make a fire to keep warm in winter, the other is to make a fire for cooking in ordinary times, and the third is to kill the New Year pig and smoke bacon. Fire pits can be found in any place. They are simple and practical. They are usually built in a corner of the stove or in the main room to facilitate daily heating. As time goes by, I still miss the firepit, the smell of the firepit, and the family's "night talk around the fire" by the firepit. During the holidays, I returned to an old house that was older than me. Over the years, the brothers and sisters have worked hard outside, and the old house has become empty. Opening the dusty door, the door curtain was covered with spider webs. Under the scattered sunlight, I saw the fire pit and fire hooks, as well as iron cans and pots, which had been sleeping there for I don't know how many years!
