Ode to the Bright Watchtower

Use the martial world as a mirror to expose the rot of power;

Raise a cup of wuxia to the burdens of history.

Set against the framework of historical wuxia, Ode to the Bright Tower poses profound questions about destiny and human nature, power and freedom. If Jin Yong’s wuxia champions “the greatest heroism: serving one’s country and its people,” this work goes further, asking, “Who has stolen the nation? What has the people been sacrificed for?”
