Paper Swan

Perhaps each of us is a swan folded from paper, clumsily creased by the hands of fate and set adrift on the river of time. Some are lucky enough to spread their soaked wings and send up a few splashes. Most simply drift in silence, then quietly sink, leaving only a fleeting white reflection in the eyes of those who happen to watch.
