Daru's mother, 10-year-old son, and a desolate alien planet full of abandoned mechas. His father has long since disappeared. Now, on this dead planet where even the wind carries the roar of metal, how can this mother and son, who seem to have no chance of winning, struggle to survive amidst mechanical debris and unknown fear?
