Late Ming: The Plume of the Abyss

In 1644, on the eve of the Ming dynasty's collapse, Beijing fell to Li Zicheng's Shun army. In despair, the Chongzhen Emperor, Zhu Youjian, tried to kill Princess Changping in the Palace of Heavenly Purity, but was stopped by his loyal eunuch Wang Chengen and others. The rebel army soon broke through the gates. At this critical moment, Mo Aotian, a modern young man who had just finished basketball practice, was transported there after touching a strange metal rod. He was 210 centimeters tall, with a handsome face and a powerful build. By chance, he activated the “Ruyi Jingu Bang: Human Technology Divine Realm” System, awakened the bloodline of a Dragon Warrior, and mastered extraordinary martial arts. With overwhelming force, Mo Aotian routed the rebel troops inside the palace and showed Chongzhen that his fate could be changed. He decided to lead the way himself, disguising Chongzhen, Princess Changping, and Wang Chengen in eunuch robes. Armed with the Ruyi Jingu Bang and superhuman strength, they fought their way from the Palace of Heavenly Purity through wave after wave of rebel soldiers, finally breaking out through the Donghua Gate of the Forbidden City. Outside, the rebel army stretched as far as the eye could see, a sight even more despairing. Under Mo Aotian's leadership, the four took temporary shelter in a private home. When Chongzhen asked where he came from, Mo Aotian admitted that he was from the future, 380 years later, and revealed the tragic historical outcome: Chongzhen would hang himself, the Ming dynasty would fall, and Qing troops would enter the pass. This plunged Chongzhen into grief, but also gave him one last chance at survival. Mo Aotian encouraged him, saying that his arrival was itself a twist of fate and that the Ming dynasty's future could still be changed. Deeply inspired, Chongzhen placed his hopes in Mo Aotian and vowed to restore order to the realm. Yet escaping Beijing, still surrounded by heavily armed troops, remained a formidable challenge.
