Invincible: Starting with Mountain Patrols and Demon Hunts

In the final years of the Celestial Dynasty, imperial authority was rotten, immortal sects carved up the land, demons and monsters ran rampant, and human lives were worth no more than weeds.

Yang Ji transmigrates into the body of a hunter and awakens the markings of Erlang Shen. He can act in the gods’ stead and obtain divine destinies.

All things under heaven possess a spirit. By taking their “spirit seeds,” he can deduce martial arts and supernatural abilities, further awakening his talents.

[Divine Hunter Destiny]: Search the mountains and subdue demons.

[Water God Destiny]: Slay flood dragons and capture dragons.

[God of National Protection, God of Cuju, God of Theater, God of Agriculture]

From then on, while immortal cultivators risked life and limb to obtain rare treasures from the wilds, venturing into demon-haunted mountains and perilous seas to outwit monsters and spirits, Yang Ji had already amassed countless treasures of heaven and earth, searching the mountains with a white hound at his side and a celestial hawk on his arm, and diving into the sea for pearls.

When chaos descended, he used the office of God of National Protection to safeguard his territory, the office of God of Theater to roam demon-haunted mountains and seas in search of rare treasures, and the office of God of Agriculture to cultivate fields of spiritual crops.

Years later, Yang Ji ruled over a hundred thousand mountains, rivers, and marshes in the southwest, and enjoyed the worship of countless people. His three-pointed, double-edged blade hung high above the immortal sects, while the twelve hundred grass-headed gods under his command cried out in unison:

“True Lord, open your heavenly eye!”
