Daily Intel: Tokyo's Lawless Detective

The seventeenth year of the Heisei era.

Imaizumi Mitsuki transmigrates to Tokyo, Japan. When he wakes, he discovers that both his boss and his mistress have been brutally murdered.

And he is the only major suspect at the crime scene.

Just then, the police break down the door.

He is arrested, and the only thing waiting for him is the dreaded memory-recovery treatment.

Luckily, he awakens the Daily Crime Intel System.

[In the safe at your boss's villa, there's incriminating evidence that he has been bribing senior police officials for years.]

[The underworld is about to make a major move.]

[Tonight, a certain madam will be blackmailed by gangsters because her late husband left behind massive gambling debts.]

Using the intel provided by the System, Imaizumi Mitsuki becomes Japan's youngest-ever legislator in just two years, sending shock waves through the entire Japanese political scene.

“Mr. Imaizumi, with the economic bubble having burst and people's incomes plummeting, the Japanese government is doing nothing. What are your thoughts on this?”

Imaizumi Mitsuki smiles faintly during the interview.

“It's simple. Why don't I just become a cabinet minister?”
