Once an Illiterate Top-Tier Star, Now the Godfather of Entertainment

[The Chinese music scene is full of useless hacks. Real music belongs to us Koreans!]

Su Yu, who had transmigrated from another world, opened his eyes, saw the trending topic before him, and fell into deep thought.

What a load of nonsense.

Never one to accept claims like that, he decided to give those Koreans a shock!

Everyone in the industry cried out in disbelief: Su Yu was way too arrogant!

On a music show, a veteran who had long admired foreign countries brought out a new Korean song and harshly criticized the Chinese music scene.

The other guests: “The teacher makes a good point.”

Su Yu: “That’s it? I could write something better without even trying!”

On a variety show, a handsome young Korean star sang and danced energetically onstage.

The other entertainers: “What a dazzling stage performance.”

Su Yu: “Tsk, even the aunties doing square dancing are better than them!”

At a movie screening, capital joined forces with foreign organizations to make a horrendously bad film and fleece the public.

The other entertainers: “It made me cry! Chinese cinema could never reach this level in its entire existence.”

Su Yu: “I really don’t want to insult anyone.”

…

Many years later, the renowned director, singer, songwriter, and actor Su Yu was asked about it by a reporter. He explained:

“Calling me an illiterate fool was a misunderstanding. I’m actually a genius.”

“A genius?” The reporter looked unconvinced.

Su Yu closed the System notification and raised an eyebrow:

[You completed an in-depth reading of An Analysis of Oscar-Winning Screenplays and received the screenplay Titanic, Skill Point *1]

[You completed an in-depth reading of The Philosophy of New Music and gained the instrument skill Guitar Proficiency, Skill Point *1]

“What else would I be?”

“You used to call me an illiterate top-tier star, and I let it slide. But from now on, call me

The Godfather of Entertainment!”
