Xuanhuan: I Helped You Found a Nation, and You Wiped Out My Clan?

Ten thousand years ago, foreign invaders crossed the border, and the mountains and rivers crumbled.

General Shen Yuan drew a line across three thousand miles of yellow sand with the invaders’ blood. He defended the land and helped the Xiao clan establish its dynasty.

Afterward, Shen Yuan stood guard alone, with nothing but a banner at his side. For ten thousand years, he guarded the Western Sands, keeping the invaders from breaching the pass and preventing them from crossing the border.

But the human heart is hard to fathom. Ten thousand years later, the Xiao imperial house broke its word and discarded him once he was no longer useful. The imperial decree thundered across the heavens: “The entire Shen clan must be executed! The Shen clan’s divine weapon must be returned to the imperial house!”

His descendants prayed through bloodied tears: “Ancestor Shen Yuan, where are you? The Shen clan is about to be wiped out!”

That day, Shen Yuan’s fury blazed sky-high! He strode out across the yellow sands!

“You’re all ants. How dare you lay a hand on my descendants!”

“From this day on, I cast aside my armor and break my banner! I abandon the border and turn my sword toward the imperial capital!”

His sword reversed in his grip, and even the heavens wept blood! Across the Great Zhou Dynasty, beacons blazed from end to end. Thirty-six layers of city walls and a million armored soldiers stood against him, yet not one dared take a single strike from Shen Yuan!
