Transmigrating to the Mediterranean

But the person he once loved steps into the future and yearns for the future beyond it; the lover living in the present follows close behind, hoping only to find an ark of refuge amid the clamor of the city; his two ex-wives track their former husband almost in unison, their open and covert rivalry driven by a desire to find solace in the past; a would-be philosopher transmigrates into the future, plotting a grand undertaking beyond the bounds of time and space, and though he fails time and again, he keeps trying; a great lawyer believes love itself is not fragile, yet he cannot make himself strong; taking a practical approach, love is nothing more than a beautiful fairy tale, and a girl born in the nineties needs only a glittering wedding hall, but though events do not go her way, she remains steadfast. Time has left clearly defined markings along history’s number line. Each marking bears a different trace, and thus carries a different meaning and significance.
