Douluo Dalu: Becoming the Abyssal Sage King and Outsmarting Tang San

A fanfiction based on The Legend of the Dragon King. Sheng Yuan transmigrates to Douluo Dalu and gets the worst possible start: he is born in the Abyss Plane as an ordinary abyssal creature. Relying on his golden finger, he makes a comeback, playing the pig to eat the tiger as he devours and replaces the Abyssal Sage King, becoming the new Abyssal Sage King. But trouble follows: he has become Tang San's prey! A thousand years of growth in the Abyss teaches him that hiding is no way to survive. If he wants to stay alive, there is only one path: kill Tang San first. So he heads to Douluo Dalu, where a battle of schemes and counter-schemes begins. A dozen years later, Tang Hao, the Plane Master, appears. Looking at the imprisoned Abyssal Sage King, he smiles as if everything is going according to plan. “Ten thousand years ago, you were already chosen as prey by my son Tang San. He has been plotting against you for ten thousand years. You should feel honored to die...” He suddenly stops mid-sentence. Tang Hao looks down at the golden spear piercing his chest, then turns in disbelief to face the young man holding it. His voice trembling, he asks, “Wulin, why... why would you do this?” Tang Wulin, holding the Golden Dragon Spear, lifts the corners of his mouth as his form slowly changes. “Your grandson died not long after entering the Dragon Valley. My name is Sheng Yuan, the Abyssal Sage King you speak of.”
