The blurb doesn’t do it justice. Read the story.

Twenty years after transmigrating, Chu Geng still hadn’t unlocked his golden finger.

Then one day, a strange stone egg fell from the sky.

While everyone else panicked, Chu Geng grinned.

Twenty years of sharpening a sword for this moment. He’d been waiting for monsters!

After years of frustration, Chu Geng had only one thought:

Either he killed a monster and unlocked his golden finger, or he could just die and start his next life!

Fortunately, his golden finger activated. Killing monsters made him stronger!

So he joined Bureau 749.

From then on, he had only one goal: find monsters and kill them!

After all, his name was Chu Geng, and he believed in digging up the roots!

Later on,

Everyone at Bureau 749 stared at the empty containment chamber, lost in thought.

Bureau 749: Hey, man, where are the contained entities?

Chu Geng: I killed them all!

Bureau 749: Wait! Our mission is to contain them. Why’d you kill them all?

Chu Geng: Just tell me, is the mission done or not?

Bureau 749: Brother Chu, please stop killing them. If you keep this up, we’ll all be out of a job!
