Enlisted Four Times! I Became the Textbook Example of What New Recruits Shouldn't Do

When other soldiers leave the military, their comrades wish them a bright future.

When Lin Chuan leaves, his comrades wish him failure in his exams, a government job, and a pig farm, and hope he stays as far from the military as possible.

The reason? The three companies he served in during his three stints in the military were all disbanded.

His nickname: Jinx!

At the regiment's farewell for the retiring veterans, the regiment correspondent hopes to capture a moving, tearjerking scene.

Instead, he films a group of veterans laughing as they shove Lin Chuan onto the bus: "Fail one exam, and your buddies will send you a red packet!"

Lin Chuan turns around and activates the System.

At karaoke, while his classmates roll dice and drink, he studies with his textbooks!

All so he can graduate from university before turning twenty-four and enlist for a fourth time.

When he puts on a recruit's uniform again, his squad leader is a soldier he once led, and his platoon leader is a recruit he once trained.

The veterans from his previous stints can't keep it together when they see him back for the fourth time!

They beg him to transfer to another unit and stop coming back to make their lives miserable!

His photo appears on the "negative example" page of the new recruit training manual.

A recruit asks, "How can a negative example still be in the military?"

The squad leader sighs. "Because he's tougher than the manual."
