Ten years ago, criminal investigation expert Lin Shen retired due to a miscarriage of justice that led to the disappearance of his sister. Ten years later, an unknown female corpse had her sister's amulet hanging around her neck. Twelve mysterious tarot cards were left next to the corpse, pointing to twelve "restricted areas" in the city. In order to uncover the truth, Lin Shen was forced to form a temporary team with Jiang Wan, a psychology doctor whose identity is a mystery, and Ah Qi, a young hacker, and step into the gray area covered by capital and power. As the investigation deepens, they discover that each "forbidden zone" corresponds to an undisclosed case, and all clues point to an underground organization called "Guixu" - it uses the rules of the game to manipulate human nature and packages crime into "social experiments."
