Tower Defense: I Inherited My Childhood Friend’s System to Save the World

Bad news: the Host I bound myself to three years early is dead.

Good news: my previous Host left me an inheritance, his childhood friend.

In that case, the inheritance will shoulder the burden of saving the world!

I'll take my Host on a rampage, killing everything in our path. I'll do the rampaging, and my Host will do the killing.

[Want to become a genius in the spotlight? Want to turn your screwed-up life around? Want to be the undisputed number-one tower-defense player? Bind with the System now, and let it lead you to the top!]

[Congratulations, Host. You have bound yourself to the Three Years of College Entrance Exam, Five Years of Mock Exams System.]

Shi Bai: Wait, I never agreed to this!

[Beginner's Gift Pack opened]

[Congratulations, Host. You have obtained “Extreme Tower Defense Mock Exam ×1”]

Shi Bai: No, I said I never agreed!

[Welcome to the “Extreme Tower Defense Simulation World.” You will enter “The Battle to Defend the City” in 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. For your own safety, please complete the mock exam in time.]

Shi Bai: You ** are forcing me to buy this!

And then...

System 525 watched its Host slaughtering his way through the battlefield and fell into deep thought:

Hmm, it seems the new Host can turn his life around without me. Wait, the new Host is already a genius. He doesn't need to turn his life around.

Oh, no, actually, it seems he does need to, a little.

Watching the “Host” take off his hat, smile warmly, and stand on the front line of the tower defense with a giant cleaver in hand, System 525 silently opened the internal forum and posted a question:

[Help! I'm a world-saving System, but my Host has a split personality. What do I do if it feels like he's about to destroy the world at any moment?]
