Food War: Start by Collecting Ingredients from All over the World

After reading a little more than one chapter of this novel, I stopped reading it. Tell me why. This book would be good if it were made into a comic, but as a novel it feels very strange. For example, writing SpongeBob SquarePants into a novel feels a bit strange to people. If it were changed to a regular background and slowly transferred into the universe, it would feel better.

The beginning was like this. . . I really don't dare to think about it later

1. The food and the functions are completely inconsistent, and there is no sense of logic The takoyaki at the beginning has random effects, so it is very reasonable to use an ingredient with random attributes to make it taste different. Later, wooden barrel rice is used to make up for shortcomings, and fungi are used for the memory function... 2. There are too many descriptions of battles. I believe those who come here are interested in food. It does not mean that there cannot be battles, but it should happen on the way to find ingredients or learn cooking skills. 3. The background is too vague. If it were not for this theme, I would not be able to read the first few chapters.

Might as well write a fanfic about Food Prisoners

This book is a lie. It writes about food, but I didn't see much about it in the early stages. It's all fighting, fighting, fighting before and after it's released! The protagonist actually spends most of his time thinking about what to fight. You are the cook. The author handled this aspect very problematically, even if it is related to the way to deal with problems in dungeons, cooking should be used. At least some questions! In the book, the world view and background are not revealed very much, and suddenly there is a chaos. At least give it a smoothing period. You are writing about eating, not about the passionate battle next door.
