My Girlfriend Used Me as a Substitute, So I Dumped Her and Married My Childhood Sweetheart

At the proposal, my girlfriend got a call from the man she’d always loved. He said he’d accidentally broken his leg. Without a second thought, she left me behind to rush to him, making a fool of me. Without asking my permission, she brought him back with her. “It takes a hundred days for an injury like that to heal. A-Shu can’t get around, so I brought him here to make it easier to look after him.” I took a sip of the porridge she’d made for him. She snatched away the bowl and pot together. “I spent five hours making that porridge. It’s medicinal food for A-Shu, and you’re so greedy you’d even steal someone else’s medicine!” In that moment, all the love I’d felt for her over the years died. I turned and called my childhood friend, who had loved me for years. “Qianqian, will you marry me? Let’s have the wedding in seven days.”
