Zhang Dai wrote in "Four Books": If you don't know what cannot be done, but do it, you are a fool; if you know it cannot be done, but do not do it, you are a wise man; if you know it cannot be done, but do it, you are a saint. I don't agree. Everyone's life from birth to death is done knowing that they cannot do anything.
