Cultivating Immortality Through Tales of the Strange, Becoming a Saint Through Merit

In the Great Jin Dynasty, the divine path has fallen into decline, while demons and monsters run rampant. Starting out as an ordinary Daoist, Lin Yu slays yellow weasels, destroys corpse-eating ghosts, exterminates wolf demons, captures mountain imps… As he earns merit and improves his cultivation, he unexpectedly wins the favor of the new female commander of the Demon Suppression Bureau. He slays the demons that banner officers cannot defeat and destroys the ghosts that thousand-household commanders cannot exterminate. With merit at his side and Daoist magic reaching the mystic heights, he sweeps away injustice throughout the land. Among all the gods and Buddhas, I alone reign supreme!
