Drunk on Wedding Bliss

After two years of marriage to Jiang Muchen, Tang Xu became known throughout the city as a jinx.

Though she was Jiang’s lawful wife, she could only watch helplessly as her family went bankrupt and her father was convicted of a crime, with no one willing to help.

Jiang Muchen looked at her coldly. “Tang Xu, do you think anyone in Huai City would dare help you if I don’t say a word?”

Everyone watched her run into one obstacle after another, battered and bloodied, and looked on coldly.

Until one snowy night deep in the mountains, when someone played a cruel trick on her. She was walking alone through the snow when a rider came galloping up, pulled her onto his horse, and wrapped her in his arms.

The first time they met, she lit a cigarette for him.

The next time they met, he said, “Miss Tang, how much are you planning to pay for me?”

Yan Shiyu was the model of a refined, dignified, cool, and noble young master from an influential family. He had never put a foot wrong, and everyone in Huai City admired him.

Yet one morning, Tang Xu was photographed leaving Yan Shiyu’s home.

The whole city was in an uproar.

Huai City’s one and only untouchable flower had stolen another man’s wife!

Everyone said Tang Xu was a master at seducing men, but Yan Shiyu replied with four words:

“I made the first move.”

The wind stirred the pines, and snow fell into her arms.

He had been the one to make the first move from the very beginning.
