Behind the Curtain

An ordinary era passed quietly.

An unprecedented transformation, however, shone upon this long-dormant land like the first light before dawn.

As this mysterious power surged, the secret extraordinary cultivators hidden deep in the mortal world awakened from their slumber like ancient gods roused from sleep.

Excitement gleamed in their eyes, and their hearts brimmed with boundless anticipation.

They knew that at last, they could break free from the shackles that had bound them for so long, step out from behind the scenes, and become the stars of the extraordinary age to come.

Yet at this turning point in history, a young man named Shen Can did something that shocked everyone.

He wielded the mysterious power in his hands as if he commanded the laws of heaven and earth, then slammed shut the curtain that had only just risen on the extraordinary age.

Some said he was dissatisfied with the existing order and wanted to seize all power for himself;

others said he had seen through the hypocrisy of the extraordinary world and chosen to return to an ordinary life.

But whatever people outside thought, Shen Can remained silent.
