After Donating My Corneas to My Wife, She Only Asked for One Last Look at Me

Three years after my death, Jiang Pei returned home as an internationally renowned dancer. Surrounded by countless camera flashes at the airport, she took off her sunglasses, revealing a pair of radiant eyes. “I owe my success to two people: my ex-boyfriend, who abandoned me because I was blind, and the kind soul who donated their corneas to me three years ago.” Later, my father’s legs were broken, my mother lost her job, and even our home was burned to the ground. She begged my mother frantically for a photo of me, asking only to see what I looked like. But my mother merely stared at her coldly. “Didn’t you burn them all yourself?”
