After I Died, the Noble Lady Crippled Her New Lover

At the start of the story, I was the top scholar in the imperial exams, and Yan Zhao was the legitimate daughter of a noble family who had come to the exam results board to choose a husband. She stripped me of my official robes. But on the night I died a gruesome death, the woman I loved was fast asleep in another man's arms. As I kept asking myself what I had done wrong, she trampled through my blood and stepped over my remains. By the time she finally realized the truth, she had cut off her new lover's legs with her own hands, saying she would clear my name. Forget it. The grudges between us run too deep in this life. In the next, let's never meet again.
