I Am the Longwu Emperor of the Great Ming

In the thirty-eighth year of the Wanli reign, 1610 AD, the Wanli Emperor, who had not held court in years, had run the Great Ming dynasty into the ground, and its fall was just around the corner.

At the same time, the ambitious Nurhaci was waging campaigns everywhere, determined to unite the Jurchen tribes and conquer the realm.

In this age of both opportunity and peril, a big shot with a foot in both archaeology and tomb-raiding transmigrated here and became Zhu Yujian, grandson of the Prince of Tang. His arrival sent shock waves across the land.

“I am Emperor Longwu of the Great Ming, Prince Zhu Youjian. Why have you carved out your own territory in the capital and rebelled?”
