Hogwarts: Harry Is Not The Chosen One

Harry's Diary July 1, 1991: I was bitten by a venomous snake, but I didn't die. I just had a strange dream. July 2, 1991: So, I'm a wizard? July 30, 1991: Someone from a magic school came to find me. I'm going to learn magic. September 1, 1991: Everyone on the train seems to know who I am. They call me the Boy Who Lived, the Dark Lord's nemesis, The Chosen One. How strange. Shouldn't my parents be the real heroes? Surely no one would claim as their own the glory won through the sacrifice of their elders. At least, I couldn't. Years later, under the admiring gaze of all the wizards, Harry still stuck to his story: “I'm just Harry Potter, an ordinary wizard, not The Chosen One at all.”
