It Begins with Bewitching the Holy Maiden

“Are you lonely?” The whispers of the Evil God echoed in Saint Victoria’s mind. She replied to her deity helplessly: “I’m lonely. I’m unhappy. My smile is just a mask I wear to protect myself.” The moment Su Qi opened his eyes, the world was doomed to descend into madness. He had become a dying Old God, and the only way to survive was to rebuild his divine kingdom. He thought this would be a wild feast of Evil Gods, but the moment he made his move, he realized something was wrong. The delicate Saint raised a massive sword crackling with lightning and shouted that she would overthrow the oppression of theocracy; The weak goblins rode into a fearless charge against the kingdom’s army; The miserly dragons gave away their entire fortunes and cast forbidden spells to fight the angels to the death; The all-powerful nobles declared they would grant freedom to the poor; And they all claimed he had guided them. On top of that, a slime girl opened her eyes and immediately tried to call him Dad! The gods awoke to find the sky falling. “You have plunged this world into madness! You despicable false god!” Faced with the gods’ accusations, Su Qi ran a hand over the golden armor the people of the continent of Edmondo had draped over him, cleared his throat, and said: “First, I’m the real deal. Second, yes, I did it.”
