Daihai

Within Kyushu there is a mountain named Dai, which is more than 10,000 feet high and has unusual horses that cannot be climbed by non-monks. Outside Kyushu there is a sea with turbulent waves and ferocious beasts. Non-monks cannot cross it. Therefore, the world of monks is also called Daihai. This book is written for dreams and practice. It contains the poems of a young man, his distant future, and his growth in practice. Everything that comes into my eyes and everything that passes through my heart is here.
