After I Fell to the Demonic Path, the Goddess Begged for My Forgiveness

The Misty Goddess and I were famous immortal partners in the celestial realm. She was its goddess of war, while I was merely a red carp from the mortal world. By a twist of fate, I leaped through the Dragon Gate and was fortunate enough to save her life during the war between immortals and demons. Everyone said I was shamelessly demanding repayment for my favor. I didn’t care. I believed that, given time, the Misty Goddess and I would come to love each other. Then one day, she returned from battle in the demon realm carrying an unconscious rogue immortal in her arms. Later, she took him as her disciple, and the two were inseparable. I gave her my protective scale and carved the blood from my heart for her, but she turned a blind eye. Only after I had fully fallen into demonic corruption did she weep and say she had mistaken me for someone else, begging for my forgiveness. Ridiculous!
