After I Fell to the Demonic Path, the Goddess Begged for My Forgiveness

I am famed throughout the Immortal Realm as the divine consort of the Misty Goddess.

The Misty Goddess is the realm’s female war god, while I was merely a red carp from the mortal world. By a twist of fate, I leaped over the Dragon Gate and was fortunate enough to save her life during the war between immortals and demons.

Everyone said I was shamelessly trying to collect on a favor.

I didn’t care in the slightest. I believed that, given enough time, she would see my true heart and that we would fall in love.

Then one day, the Misty Goddess returned from battle in the demon realm with an unconscious wandering immortal in her arms.

Later, she took the wandering immortal as her disciple, and the two were inseparable.

I pulled out my protective scale for her and carved the blood from my heart, yet she acted as if she never noticed.

After I had completely fallen into demonhood, she wept and said she had mistaken me for someone else, begging me to forgive her.

What a joke!
