He is a remnant struggling within invisible energies that have persisted since the Dark Age of Technology. Every day, a thousand souls are sacrificed to the decaying ruler of this empire, so that he may never truly die. Yet even this rotting empire still needs explorers who can transmigrate among the stars. While the Master of Mankind still walked among mortals, the trade licenses he issued gave rise to ancient and mighty Rogue Trader Dynasties, opening up countless new worlds.
