A Career as an Assistant Police Officer in Lucheng

Working as an auxiliary police officer in the 1990s, he saw all kinds of people and the many sides of life. He patrolled, caught fugitives, conducted interrogations, learned the laws and regulations, and witnessed society's unwritten rules and dark side. From a naive student fresh out of school, he quickly experienced the realities of life, laying the foundation for his future wealth.

Over a lifetime, we meet many people. We meet them along the way, then say goodbye; some we never see again. What we call a relationship is often no relationship at all. People are just passersby, travelers, persuaders, and conversationalists. Relations between people are mostly exchanges of resources, fair trades, and mutually beneficial arrangements: turning strangers into acquaintances and connections. This includes romantic relationships, relationships with colleagues and relatives, hierarchies, social ties, and every other kind of relationship.

The world is vast and full of wonders. Somehow, an unseen force turns strangers into people whose lives intersect. Through this book, I hope everyone will obey the law, strive to improve, seek out and recognize the people who are right for them, and build effective, mutually beneficial relationships instead of lingering in pointless ones and wasting time.

Time moves on, and the world changes. Every life has a different purpose: some come to change the world, some to experience life, while many others live ordinary lives full of ups and downs. Let us experience it all together. Time will carry us through every hardship, struggle, and moment of uncertainty. Effort is always rewarded.

Let us embrace the beauty of this world together.
