Legend of the Mud Dragon

In the age of savagery, demons ran rampant and all living things suffered. The hero who shot down the suns was devoured by the two surviving Golden Crows. Jingwei fed the “Sea of Blood” with the flesh and blood of mortals. The Buddhas beyond the “Western Heaven” stirred restlessly, while mountain spirits who called themselves gods inhaled “incense offerings” that were actually human souls. In ancient times, the Jade Emperor appeared, founded the Heavenly Court, subdued the demons, and granted them titles. From then on, demons vanished, the world was at peace, and no more tales were heard of spirits devouring people. Until recent years, when the Jade Emperor died and the world was thrown into chaos in an instant. The demons returned. In this time of turmoil, countless orthodox sects and heretical cults emerged, while heroes and warlords rose to prominence. And at the same time... The True Dragons, long vanished from the world, returned as well.
