The Rules-Haunted Hotel Manager

As his senior year internship began, Chen Mo inherited a hotel from his great-uncle: the Dragon Gate Hot Spring Hotel.

On his first day as the hotel manager, a guest arrived carrying a white rabbit. She said her name was Chang'e, and that her husband was Hou Yi.

After that, guests named Nie Xiaoqian, Su Daji, and Xing Tian checked in one after another. But aside from these guests with names and identities straight out of myths and legends, the Dragon Gate Hot Spring Hotel also had ten strange rules:

1. Guests come first. Do your best to meet their requests.

2. If the janitor is rude, do not talk back. Ask the front desk to handle it.

3. If you see the hotel hot spring suddenly turn red, pretend you didn't notice. If a guest says they saw the water turn red, have them check out immediately.

4. If you hear children playing in the deserted hotel playground, pretend you didn't hear anything and leave at once.

5. If you see the hotel chef wearing a tall black hat, do not look into her eyes for more than three seconds.

6. If you see a hotel attendant wearing a mask, do not speak to her.

7. Keep quiet after midnight. Do not make a racket.

8. If you hear a noise outside after 2 a.m., do not go out to investigate.

9. If you return to the hotel after midnight, ask the front desk to handle it.

10. Under no circumstances enter the basement level.
