Lan Xi’s Transmigration Diary

Lan Xi arrives in an unfamiliar alternate ancient world as a three-year-old toddler. Calmly accepting the gift bestowed by the god of fate, Lan Xi chooses to lie flat. At five, she meets an adorable little boy in need. A few years later, she discovers he’s become a monk! But so what if he’s a little monk now? He’ll still have to come meekly into my bowl. “Little monk, let’s make a deal. How about trying life as a layman?” Lan Xi wraps her arms around Zhan Chen from behind as he intently recites sutras, shamelessly making her case with a perfectly straight face. The steady tapping of the wooden fish stops abruptly, and silence fills the air. “All right.” “It’s okay if you can’t. We can still… Wait, what did you say?” The clear-eyed monk turns around, his gaze holding a thousand tangled thoughts before settling into helpless resignation. “Why do you think I’m here?” … No golden finger, and she’s no top student. She starts out weak and grows stronger along the way. She pursues him, and he gives up monastic life for her.
