A Cat Demon, but Raised as a Witch

“You mean I spent three million Imperial Sols, pulled strings, and renovated the shop, and all I get is that ‘cat’ for a year?” “That's right, boss.” “Damn it, does that mean I'm reduced to begging on my knees?” “You can't put it that way. In the Cat God District, having a cat is what proves our mall is top-tier.” “Do you realize that's more than half a year's income for our mall?!” “But they'll send a witch to advise us, and one will come by to inspect every month.” “Move it, you lazybones! Hurry up and bring my precious ‘cat’ back. We can't keep Her Ladyship the Witch waiting!” Xien has been a cat in two lifetimes. This time, in a steampunk world without spiritual energy, Xien finally has a mother of their own. It's just that my mom seems to have a few too many legs. But never mind that. I'll enjoy this world first. Mother Earth wouldn't send her dear child here just to suffer, would she?
