Reborn as the Ming Dynasty's Martial Emperor

The ninth month of the twelfth year of the Zhengde reign, corresponding to 1517 AD. At this time, Dayan Khan of the northern Tatar people has grown ambitious after unifying the eastern Mongol tribes. He has begun repeatedly harassing the Ming frontier and is now preparing for a second large-scale invasion to raid for supplies. At this moment, Zhu Wenyuan transmigrates into the body of Zhu Houzhao, the most debauched and depraved emperor in Ming history. The good news is that Zhu Houzhao is still young. He is strong and healthy, with plenty of time to govern diligently and strive for greatness. The bad news is that Zhu Wenyuan does not know much about Ming history. He only knows that Zhu Houzhao won the Battle of Yingzhou and personally killed a man in combat, but not the details of the battle. He only knows that Jiang Bin was a treacherous minister, but not exactly what made him so vile. He only knows that Yang Tinghe was a capable official, though he feels this Grand Secretary was poor at putting plans into action and liked to cut corners. His only hope is Wang Shouren, the renowned founder of the School of Mind, who is currently suppressing bandits in Ganzhou, Jiangxi. War on the border is about to break out, but the court officials are still holding him back. Now that he has left Juyong Pass, he should go fight for his country and roam the frontier for a while. Otherwise, how can he call himself a real man?!
