In Tokyo, Renting a God

Ping Shendu is reborn in Tokyo, inheriting a century-old mansion and a bunch of divine underlings. The very next day, he signs a contract with the young lady of the Mogami family, who comes to visit, and becomes her personal retainer. But Miss Hanekawa from the Special Affairs Bureau still firmly believes she can poach him, while the shrine maiden gradually draws closer and his childhood friend makes her move too. Urban legends are unfolding... The boy vows that gods will never die by the hands of a hatchet... Literary version: Aim for the highest, and you may reach the middle; Aim for the middle, and you will fall short. If you have modest ideals, start by setting a grand goal. So, under the “tender care” of unscrupulous gods, Ping Shendu vows to become someone who beats the stuffing out of gods. And so, Ping Shendu sets out on life’s trials and, by a twist of fate, becomes a “god” himself. The dragon-slayer eventually becomes the dragon! Of course, it would be even better if Miss Mogami would put down that enormous hatchet in her hand... A new ride! The internal review has passed.
