Journey to the West: Sun Wukong Refuses to Leave the Mountain

Chu Xingze transmigrates into Sun Wukong beneath Five Elements Mountain. His five-hundred-year sentence is finally over, and Tang Sanzang arrives. “Are you the disciple Guanyin Bodhisattva recommended to me?” Chu Xingze: “No!” Guanyin Bodhisattva: “Sun Wukong, are you coming out or not?” Chu Xingze: “I can’t. Old Sun has committed too many sins. I need to be imprisoned for another five hundred years!” The great calamity of the Journey to the West is nearly over, demons run rampant across the Western Ox Continent, and Tang Sanzang still hasn’t made it out of Five Elements Mountain. Tathagata Buddha can’t sit still any longer. “Sun Wukong, I forgive you! Hurry up and come out!” But Chu Xingze defiantly shouts, “I want to be imprisoned for another five hundred years!”
