My Ancestor Possessed Me

In 1995, fourteen-year-old Zhang Li accidentally became possessed by the Zhang clan’s ancestor, who was in the middle of reincarnating, after Zhang Li found an ancestral wooden token. To reincarnate again, the ancestor had to collect the other seven tokens scattered across the land. His only option was to guide Zhang Li, help him grow stronger and become self-reliant, then send him out to find the Zhang family tokens.

But Zhang Li was too unruly and had no ambition. He just wanted to take life as it came. Left with no choice, the ancestor Zhang Liang resorted to threats and bribes, outwitting and outmaneuvering the wayward boy until he successfully got Zhang Li through school.

As Zhang Li grew older, he matured and began working hard, gradually becoming a formidable man who could hold his own in the business world. With his own efforts and the ancestor’s help, he achieved one remarkable success after another.

Through a series of thrilling challenges, he continually transformed and rose to new heights, serving his family, clan, and country. At last, with the combined strength and wisdom of many, he overcame one obstacle after another. The other seven tokens finally returned to Zhang Li one by one, allowing the Zhang clan’s ancestor to enter the cycle of reincarnation once more.

With his peerless wife and a brood of children at his side, Zhang Li returned in glory to the Zhang clan’s ancestral hall, bringing honor to his ancestors and becoming a new legend of China.
