Zhong Zheng: Escape from the Timeline

The world, all living things.

Insects become butterflies, snakes become dragons, people seek the Dao, never tiring, never knowing the way, never stopping to reflect.

The great bell rolls on, the myriad ways cycle through reincarnation. All things follow the law, fleeting as dew, flashing like lightning.

Who could have imagined that a thousand paths all lead to the same destination, that life after life repeats, and yet at the end of time lies only endless grief!

In a world shaped like a sundial and a great bell, the hand that becomes a bridge moves once every ten years, carving the fates of countless souls beneath the cold markings. It cannot be roused, and none can escape.

The gods say that no one can escape the law of cause and effect.

Beneath the Fox Temple, a chorus of crows and festival drums...

Ha!

A thunderclap from a clear sky!

The young man with a spear strides into the world, daring to rival Heaven itself! A stirring heart sets the will in motion; the will stirs thought, and in a single thought, cause and effect turn to dust! Even if the road ahead offers no chance of survival, we will not accept a death decreed by fate!!
