It tastes like that. I can't tell whether he is an orphan male protagonist who is naive or just a brainless man. He looks ordinary but has a mysterious origin, a family that is hard to tell whether he is a ghost or a ghost, a weird and yandere female character, a crazy group of people, and a crazy world view under the normal skin... What I admire the most about the author is that he obviously has the writing style to tell a normal story, but he doesn't! Taking a different approach and using the protagonist's so-called "normal" perspective to depict this morbid world where humans and ghosts are indistinguishable, isn't this kind of writing the essence of Cthulhu style? So all things supernatural, apocalyptic, and superpowers are just appearances. This is actually a straight-up Cthulhu text! But the disadvantage is that the plot advances too slowly, and the author often cuts the book before it can unfold, giving readers double torture. I hope this book by the author will be better than the previous one.
