Using an Alt to Make It in Entertainment

Su Ran transmigrated into an unknown parallel world, only to discover that he had cancer.

At his most desperate moment, Su Ran obtained the Alt Account Showdown System. To extend his life, he had to create alt accounts, make his way through the entertainment world, and earn Showdown Points.

After looking into the history of this parallel world, Su Ran discovered that technology was thriving, but entertainment was underdeveloped. Even second-rate songs from his previous life could be hailed as masterpieces here.

As luck would have it, an online singing competition called Stars of Tomorrow was underway, so Su Ran created three alt accounts in a row.

The first, Zhou Lun, released “Sunny Day.”

The second, Xue Yi, released “Actor.”

The third, Xu Jie, released “She Said.”

With masterpieces appearing one after another, the internet was in an uproar, and Su Ran kicked off a battle of the gods for this era.

But how could he get his alt accounts to clash and compete?

Su Ran portrayed his first alt account, Zhou Lun, as a comeback kid who had been defeated several times in his youth by the second, Xue Yi, but was now ready to rise again.

He portrayed his second alt account, Xue Yi, as a gifted young man who had once basked in glory, but whose family fell apart as he grew up, leaving him a wandering singer.

Then he portrayed his third alt account, Xu Jie, as a down-and-out young man who was hurt by a girl, only for her to fall in love with someone else.

Just as Su Ran was congratulating himself on his clever setup, the System told him that the Host had to personally accept the Golden Melody Award to activate the next round of rewards...

Fine, I’m done pretending. Here’s the truth: they’re all my alt accounts.
