My Ex Is Gorgeous and Badass

* Nan Xi: The only thing I never lack is love. Ye Yichen: The only thing I lack is love. * One word to describe an ex: a drama queen. One sentence to sum up a love that went nowhere: Two drama queens chirp in the green willows, one going “chirp chirp” and the other “tweet tweet.” * Four words: Walk right into my trap. One sentence: You're sick, I've got the medicine, and it's just what you need. (Her ex-boyfriend is ill in the medical sense, and has more than one condition. Note: The male lead's personality shifts at will, influenced by his surroundings, mood, and condition. In short: I'm sick, so I'm right. The female lead: I don't care what's wrong with you, you have to take your medicine. One pill isn't enough? Then take a handful.) * The sunny Nan Xi fell for the cool, aloof, and elegant Ye Yichen in college. She went to great lengths to find out that he liked gentle, sweet girls, then catered to his tastes and made the first move. Once she got her wish, she discovered that her dream guy was nothing like he seemed. His cool elegance was all a load of crap. Not as advertised? You can return it within seven days, no questions asked. Ye Yichen had dissociative identity disorder, depression, and a deep hatred of life. All he wanted was to give up, until he met Nan Xi... He found out that Nan Xi liked boys who were as refreshing as a clear breeze beneath a bright moon, so he played to her tastes and lured her right into his trap. This should have been a sweet love story about “you make the first move, and I lure you into my trap,” but they broke up. Years later, her ex-boyfriend's career was soaring. His movies were both critically acclaimed and popular, and his studio was thriving. Meanwhile, Nan Xi had gone bankrupt and piled up a mountain of debt. She was scraping by selling celebrity merchandise online and working as an extra. When they met again, her ex-boyfriend offered her a contract for a couples' reality show featuring a top-tier star. Nan Xi sneaked a look at the fee, immediately dropped to her knees and accepted with both hands... Then she happily walked straight into the elaborate trap her ex had laid for her.
