Reverse Domestication

The first time Rong Yan met Yu Ci, he thought she was a poor little thing who cried easily and startled at everything. When they met again, she showed her fangs and gave him a thorough runaround. For the first time, Master Rong, famed for his ruthless brutality, wanted to tame a little rabbit. He dangled the treasure she cared about most and smiled warmly. “Be a good girl. Come here.” Yu Ci snatched the card from his hand. “The card, sure. But I don't want you.” Rong Yan: “...” After that, no matter how carefully he planned and schemed, Yu Ci saw right through him, turned the tables, and tricked him twice over. Rong Yan gave up more and more, and before he knew it, the balance of power between them had shifted. Until one drunken night, in front of a business partner, he called her. After a long silence, he opened with a pitiful whine: “All the other grown-ups have someone waiting to pick them up. I'm the only one who doesn't.” Yu Ci's voice was cool. “Who am I?” “Yu Ci.” “And what else?” Rong Yan fought to stay sober. “My wife.” She smiled. Step by step, she lured Rong Yan into the very web he'd woven himself. One crook of her finger, and the girl had him willingly offering her everything he had. Later, in the car, Yu Ci grabbed Rong Yan by the collar and copied his old trick, dangling the necklace in her hand. “Sixth Brother, come a little closer?” [One-on-one, sweet and devoted romance, a soft and adorable girl with maxed-out combat skills x a (seemingly) gentle and refined gentleman]
