Yu Jing has looked terrifying since he was a child. All I can say is, I look scary, but I'm really not a bad person. “Hey, you monster! If you dare eat grass today, won't you be eating people tomorrow? You can't be allowed to live!” Monster: I'm a bull demon, for God's sake. Is eating grass a crime? Reborn in a monster-infested world that seems straight out of Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, Yu Jing has no System or wise old mentor. He just has a tiny bit of talent for crafting magical artifacts. Because he looks terrifying, he gets recruited by the Demon-Suppressing Office. He slays monsters, forges treasures, and executes gods and Buddhas. Anyone who refuses to behave gets locked up! Villain A: “I have a golden core that shines across countless mountains and rivers!” Villain B: “I have a Yang Spirit that roams freely between the worlds of Yin and Yang!” Villain C: “I have an indestructible body that can bear the weight of three mountains and five peaks!” Villain D: “And what do you have?” Yu Jing: “Nothing much. Just a Soul-Summoning Banner, Heaven-Flipping Seal, Golden Flood Dragon Shears, Banana Fan, Human Seed Bag, Diamond Bracelet...” Tree Demon Granny and more... forged into the Soul-Summoning Banner. Black Mountain Old Demon and more... forged into the Heaven-Flipping Seal. Two flood dragons and more... forged into the Golden Flood Dragon Shears. I may not have much else, but I've got plenty of magical treasures!
