Journey to the West: The Hongyuan Continent

This continent is called the Hongyuan Continent. The heavens and earth are filled with source energy, which humans, beasts, and even plants, insects, and fish can use to cultivate.

In ancient times, powerful demon beasts rampaged across the land with their formidable bodies, and humans were among their prey.

Later, Hong, the ancestor of humanity, comprehended the patterns governing the movement of the stars and the mysteries of the human body. Combining the two, he created the Source-Absorbing Body-Tempering Art, a cultivation method suited to humans. Practiced to its limits, it could make the body strong enough to rival even the dragon clan, the royal family among demon beasts.
