Cyberpunk 2150

In the parallel year 2100, the corporate wars came to an end, and Cloudtop City, an Antarctic city in the sky, declared independence as a free city-state.

That same year, the Shendai Corporation unveiled its automated colonization module, dramatically reducing the cost of interstellar colonization. This broke the great powers' monopoly on colonizing space and ushered in a new wave of interstellar expansion.

In 2115, the Curator's wandering spacecraft appeared in the Solar System. The United Nations officially recorded it as humanity's first Third Kind of Contact.

In 2130, the population of Mars's Yinghuo City surpassed 200 million, making it the largest city in human history.

In 2150, the United Nations enacted the Interstellar Colonization Protection Act. Nations around the world divided up their respective spheres of influence in space, and humanity laid claim to the entire Solar System.

Yet even as the wave of interstellar colonization surged on, Cloudtop City, tucked away at Earth's southernmost edge, continued to move forward at its own pace.

Du Yun, an ordinary prosthetics repairman, took on some “off-the-books jobs” to scrape together bail money for his imprisoned teacher. Just as he was about to raise the full amount, he unexpectedly learned the truth behind his teacher's imprisonment.

As if that weren't enough, his teacher died unexpectedly in prison, and all signs pointed to City Councilor Lewis. With no hope of justice through Cloudtop City's legal system, Du Yun finally decided to pursue justice in his own way...
