A Gift from Seven Light Years

A baby comes from another earth and comes to a world full of super radioactive materials. A supernova exploded seven light years away from Earth, and it took seven years for the radiation from the supernova explosion to reach Earth. This exploding supernova seems to suddenly appear in a star field seven light years away from the earth. Is this a conspiracy? Or by chance?
