Above the Five Immortals

Are there really immortal Buddhas in this world who can call the wind and rain, and turn mountains and seas upside down? When people in the village got sick, they would often go to the Guanyin Temple to ask for Guanyin soil to cure their illnesses. He believed in those immortal Buddhas who appeared or disappeared. The white powder was difficult to swallow, so he drank it with water. These illnesses seem to be afraid of the gods and Buddhas, and they will leave after a few days. So are there really gods and Buddhas in the world? If so, then where are they hiding? They are nowhere to be seen in the Heavenly Palace among the clouds. Is it possible that they are afraid of us small humans, or are they killing each other for their own interests, leading to collective demise?
