My Empire

I just reviewed "Our World War" again. Long Ling should really consider whether to continue writing it. The quality of the new book is far inferior to the previous works. In order to understand my life, I can take a month off and update it every day to adjust it.
Long Ling, are you a little off track? I mean, the protagonist is an arms dealer, and the title of the novel is Arms Empire, but I didn't feel much of a businessman.
Withdrawn, this book is not as good as the last one
Seeing Chapter 1470, the nuclear bomb has not been built, Beidou Navigation has just been clicked on the space technology tree, and the military level is about the middle to late Cold War. It is estimated that the overall technological level at the end of this book will be around the 1970s to 1980s in China. The unification of the world will be complete. There will be no space development stage, and the pattern will be slightly smaller.
My opinion
In fact, in this world, the Tang army is not helpless against the mountainous areas in the southern part of Chu. First of all, we can refer to the liberation fighters in the Liberation War, and use the uprising Chu soldiers who are familiar with the mountains to deal with the Chu soldiers who have been oppressed by the old aristocrats. These educated liberation fighters are often very powerful in combat. The most famous example is the Fifty Army. Secondly, we can refer to the Korean War. In mountain warfare, as long as important supply nodes are captured, the troops in the mountains will often collapse or retreat due to supply reasons. In the early stages of the Korean War, after the US military landed, the North Korean army could react as soon as it collapsed thousands of miles. This was also true even in the Vietnam War. The Vietnamese army, which had almost the same firepower as the US military's individual soldiers, faced artillery There was almost no way for the U. S. Military to block the strongholds with air superiority, and in the Korean War, the battles with greater casualties between the Chinese and American forces were all in the first four battles. These battles were all launched around important nodes on the battlefield. It should be noted that at that time, our army was the strongest light infantry on the surface that had experienced the baptism of the Liberation War. At that time, the U. S. Military did not have Van Fleet ammunition. During the five battles, the US military counterattacked the mountainous areas, often at the company and battalion levels. The US military's artillery and air force superiority caused very heavy casualties to our army, while the US military casualties were relatively small. The US military even used magnetic tactics based on the mixed assault force with armored forces as the core. Our army retreated steadily and even the 180th Division was almost wiped out. If it weren't for the Southern Korean Army Taicai, Therefore, the later Jincheng counterattack focused on the South Korean Army. After taking a step back, we lost the essential plain area in the north. We cannot support hundreds of thousands of troops by relying on the southern mountains. Where will your equipment and ammunition come from? There is no sea transportation. At that time, I, President Chang, had the Chengdu Plain and the arsenal that could be moved later. That was it. We also had to rely on Vietnam shipping and the Burma Highway. In the later period, we also had to rely on the Hump Route. So, hurry up and take over Chu State, and hurry up and publish a world map. I think it's a bit messy.
The name of the latest chapter should be called Handicrafts. It's just one chapter for your day. Two chapters are fine.
Update soon
To be honest, this book should not have used a time traveler character at the beginning. A real time traveler would not be reluctant to sell weapons to nobles, but a real time traveler would hang nobles from street lamps.
Suddenly I came across this, a novel written by Long Ling many years ago. Do you want the administrator to be more sophisticated? Brothers, stand up for me.
The more I read, the more I discovered that the author's two novels have common problems.
Whether it is the current "Arms Empire" that is still being serialized, or the previous "My Empire" that has been completed. The issues that arise in both novels are similar. The first common problem is that the protagonist will always become the ruler of the country. In the novel "My Third Reich", the protagonist Accardo Rudolf started as a private soldier in the German army and climbed up step by step. Eventually he entered politics and gradually became the head of state of Germany. After such a long period of experience, the process of finally becoming the ruler of a country is considered normal. But in the novel "My Empire", the protagonist Chris Alan Hill comes from a family at most, and is not very powerful, and eventually becomes the emperor. This possibility is very low, after all, managing a family is obviously different from managing a country. As for the novel "Alien Arms Empire" that is currently being serialized, the protagonist Tang Mo is at best a businessman, but he can actually become an emperor. A businessman becomes the emperor, and the country will be very much like Russia during Yeltsin's rule, where a group of oligarchs have the final say in politics. The most normal development of the protagonist in this novel is not to work in the country's military industry. Just like Yuri Orlov, the protagonist of the movie "Lord of War", he became an arms dealer operating in multiple war-torn countries and conducting arms transactions. The second common problem is that the protagonists are omnipotent, and the other characters are almost always foils. In the previous two novels with a German background, it was not only the protagonist's decision-making, but also the command of various German generals that allowed Germany to win one victory after another. The author's two protagonists, Chris Alan Hill and Tang Mo, can be said to be all-rounders who can design various weapons, understand various tactics, and govern the country. But other characters often rely on learning from the protagonist to master these skills. The third common problem is that the world is completely developed by the protagonist. Whether it is for military or civilian use, the world in these two novels is entirely about the protagonist designing a certain product, causing a sensation around the world, and then exporting it in large quantities to many countries. But after other countries obtain these commodities, they often only develop on this basis, always in a small way. Whether it is military supplies or civilian supplies, they are not separated from the original products in the end. Take firearms as an example. In reality, Germany's Mauser 98 rifle was exported to many countries around the world after its birth, and was heavily imitated and improved. For example, the biggest difference between the Japanese Type 38 rifle and the American Springfield M1903 rifle compared to the Mauser 98 rifle is the simplification of the bolt mechanism. Also during the war between the Red Army and the White Army in Soviet Russia, a large number of Mauser series pistols flowed into Russia. Although the Soviet Union did not imitate the Mauser pistol later, it developed the Tokarev pistol cartridge based on the Mauser pistol cartridge. Until Makarov was equipped with it, Tokarev pistol ammunition was widely used by the Soviet army. Submachine guns such as Popod, Poposa, and Popos, and Tokarev pistols all use this bullet. But in these two novels, other countries in the world are completely ignorant. All I know is that I keep buying weapons from the country where the protagonist is, but I never develop my own domestically produced weapons. It can be said that no matter what kind of weapons and ammunition, they are all provided by the country where the protagonist is located. The fourth common problem is that the weapons in the novel are too complicated. Almost all weapons in the novel are provided by the country where the protagonist lives. Especially in this novel, the protagonist is completely provided with different weapons by different countries. This approach will cause obvious problems in logistics. Under normal circumstances, different commodities will not be manufactured in large quantities to be sold to different countries, but those countries will develop based on the weapons and other commodities they buy. The previous novel also had this problem, but it is not as big a problem as the current novel. The fifth common problem is that the development of science and technology in the novel is ridiculously fast. In "My Empire", it initially resembles Europe in the Middle Ages. Eventually, in a sci-fi style, soldiers were equipped with exoskeletons. In terms of heavy weapons, it quickly developed from the Sherman equipped with a 90 mm caliber tank gun (this tank did exist in real history. The Sherman's chassis was equipped with a Pershing turret. Although it could be used, it was abandoned because it was too heavy. The "90 mm tank gun Sherman" became a tank destroyer) quickly developed to the T-72, and then to the 99. Then, the Department of Development Science Fiction Tank arrived. In terms of small arms, the development from Mauser 98K to STG44 is relatively normal. But then the M4A1 was developed. Then he said that "M4A1 is not easy to manufacture" and changed it to equip AK-47. There are two problems to be solved in the development of M4A1. The first is material. This gun does not use steel and wood, but aluminum alloy and engineering plastics. The second is that it is very sensitive to water, which is a problem faced by all small-caliber firearms designs. As for the development of AK-47 because "M4A1 is difficult to manufacture", this is completely taken for granted by the author. The chrome-plated barrel and irregular bolt of the AK-47 are not easy to make at all. As for the imitation AKs produced by workshops in small countries, their reliability and durability are simply incomparable with the Soviet originals. In terms of tanks, starting from the T-72, tanks no longer have pure steel defense, but use composite armor. The jump from Sherman to T-72 can be said to be impossibly fast. In "Alien Arms Empire", it initially resembles Europe during the bourgeois revolution. Until now, it has almost been the Cold War era. The same goes for weapons, from the original Dreiser striker gun to the Winchester lever rifle. But manufacturing the Mauser 98K rifle at the same time is obviously a big step. After all, the development of smokeless gunpowder has not been short. If you want to manufacture a rifle mainly for export, the Mauser G71 will do. Lever rifles are not suitable for mass equipment due to insufficient reliability and precision parts. But then AKM and MP5 appeared. It is estimated that the author underestimated the difficulty of the stamping process. Stamping is faster than milling, but the requirements for stamping are also higher. As for the development of pistols, it is also a matter of materials. As for the development of tanks, it is more normal than the previous one. However, just keep one type of Panzer IV tank and Panther tank. The sixth common question is that the specific models of weapons are not specified. Artillery is convenient. The author writes about ※※mm caliber ※※ guns, such as "75 mm caliber tank guns." However, the M3 tank gun equipped by the Sherman, the KWK37 and KWK40 tank guns equipped by the Panzer IV tank, and the KWK42 tank gun equipped by the Panther tank are all 75 mm caliber, but the ammunition is not universal. There are also different models of weapon development. For example, the Panther tank has three models: D, A, and G, and the Panzer IV and Sherman tanks have more models. As for firearms, the same is true. The Winchester lever rifle was an improvement and development from the Henry 1860 lever rifle during the Civil War. The earliest Winchester 1866 compared to the Henry 1860, added a handguard, and the loading port was changed to the side of the receiver. Compared with the 1866 model, the later model 1873 changed the brass receiver to a steel receiver. In the later model 1894, compared to the model 1873, a more lethal bullet was used. Compared with the 1894 model, the final model 1895 was changed to fire smokeless powder ammunition, and the tubular magazine was changed to a box magazine. The author writes about Winchester, I can't tell which model it is at all. But looking at the introduction of this gun in the author's novel, I feel that this is not a Winchester rifle at all, but the predecessor Henry 1860 rifle. There is also the Thompson submachine gun. The earliest model was the 1921 model (the 1919 model was just a prototype gun). The later model 1928 added a muzzle anti-bounce device based on the model 1921. The developed 1928A1 model changed the front grip to a square handguard. Compared with the previous models, the internal structure of the later military models M1 and M1A1 was significantly simplified. The scale was removed and replaced with a simple notch rear sight and a sight hole rear sight. The bolt is changed from the top to the right side of the receiver, the magazine drum is eliminated, and the butt cannot be disassembled with bare hands. In the novel, the author said on the one hand that the Thomson he chose was an official military model, and on the other hand, he said that drum magazines could be used for ammunition. I guess this is the M1928A1 model because the US military has equipped it with this model. The reason why these common problems appear in the author's works is probably related to the type of novel. The author writes a novel with a realistic historical background, and still has a lot of information to check, so as not to cause all kinds of outrageous questions. It just so happens that the author is writing a novel about another world, and it is obvious that he does not have a deep understanding of weapons and technology, and various problems appear in the novel. If the author can continue to write novels with realistic historical backgrounds in the future, they will be more popular.
This beginning was not written well. Anyone with normal education knows what ancient times were like? The protagonist is really lucky to be able to come out of the castle alive. I have no doubt that the nobles will silence the protagonist and seize his technology, or imprison the protagonist to use his skills. The value of arms is to make people feel insecure. If the protagonist secretly sells this gun to gangsters, underground organizations, or other chaotic forces, they will beat the noble army to the point where it cannot hold its head up, and the nobles will want to update their equipment, and how can the protagonist protect his property if he has no strength?
Let me ask Long Ling a question, why do you continue to publish novels at Qidian at the expense of writing novels that you are not good at?
Since around 2019, when Yuewen went crazy to conduct so-called "self-examination", a large number of novels have been completely blocked, and a large number of genres have become forbidden areas. But what you, the author, are good at are modern world history novels, not otherworld novels. Compared with the two novels "My Third Reich" that you once wrote but were blocked in their entirety and "The Imperial Overlord" that was blocked in their entirety before they were completed, the two novels "My Third Reich" that you have completed but still survived and "The Empire of Alien Arms" that you are currently serializing have almost exactly the same problems. Because you, the author, have two problems. The first is that the plot development of all novels is almost the same. The protagonist becomes the head of state, and the country begins to expand and conquer foreign countries. But in the two surviving otherworld novels you have written so far, the protagonists have a very low status. Especially in the novel "Arms Empire from Another World", the protagonist is an ordinary arms dealer who eventually becomes the head of state. Businessmen lead the country, either consortiums or oligarchs. The problem is how much they want. This was the case in Russia in the 1990s. Moreover, in the two alien novels, except for the country where the protagonist is located, the other countries have very low cultural development, and the development of science and technology is also very low. They almost only send envoys to the country where the protagonist is located to buy various things. And even if you buy it back, there will be almost no development. As for the country where the protagonist lives, it usually builds a steam engine not long after the beginning of the story, and then begins to develop rapidly. And whether it is military technology or civilian technology, it seems that it is all driven by the protagonist alone. It may be that the author does not know the machinery before the steam engine, and thinks that all production was done by hand. Before the steam engine, there were hydraulic machinery and wind machinery, which could also form production lines. (In addition, the author may not know that there are cars powered by steam engines. European countries such as Britain, France and the Soviet Union have produced steam engine cars. The earliest steam engine cars in the world were born during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. These steam engine cars were even more important in industry. It has been widely used in the military. The disadvantage is that it requires at least two people to drive it, a driver and a fireman, and they are not afraid of heat) The author recommends watching the documentary "World History", episode 70: Changes in Modern Social Life in Europe and America. This episode details various automatons throughout history. In addition, wind and hydraulic machinery also appear in some ancient novels. The second problem you have, the author, is your lack of understanding of weapons and equipment. To put it bluntly, it is at most better than those military novices. Especially in the novel "My Empire", in order to deal with the "10mm assault rifle" made by the magician. In fact, among all firearms today, the only ones with large caliber are heavy machine guns and anti-material rifles, because they need to ensure long-distance damage capabilities. In the novel "My Empire", the author said that the Airan Hill army was first equipped with M4A1 carbines, and then "found that it was difficult to manufacture M4A1 carbines, so they switched to AK-47." This kind of thing is completely impossible. This kind of change will not only require a major change in the production line, but also the production of brand new ammunition. In addition, in terms of ease of manufacturing, American M16/M4 and AR-18 rifles are far simpler and cheaper than the AK series rifles. The bolt action of the AK series rifles is one of the parts that is not easy to produce. If you want to ensure reliability, you must use heavy materials like the Soviet Union at that time. Don't think about it being cheap. If it's the kind made by hand in a workshop, it's very cheap, but don't think about its reliability. The previous novel "Imperial Overlord" had the same problem. In the novel, the protagonist provided the German weapons company with the drawings of the AK-47 and STG44 rifles. However, German weapons designers believed that "AK-47 is too simple" and chose STG44. In fact, one of the few advantages of the STG44 compared to the AK-47 is that the straighter butt makes the muzzle winding less obvious. As for the upper and lower receiver structures, the advantage is that it is more convenient to install various scopes and other accessories, but the disadvantage is that it is heavier. There are also steel stamped receivers. Although the mass-produced AK-47 has a steel milled receiver, China's Type 56 submachine gun, which imitated the AK-47, switched to a steel stamped receiver in the 1960s. The improved model AKM launched by the Soviet Union in 1959 also used a steel stamped receiver, and the butt was straighter. As for the STG44's bolt offset locking, non-insulated steel stamped handguard, charging handle slot without dust cover, complex trigger group and oversized and heavy bushing, they are all disadvantages compared to the AK-47. As for the "Alien Arms Empire", an obvious mistake written by the author is that changing the original firing of 11.43Mm black powder rifle bullets (the American .45-70 Black powder rifle bullets and .45-Inch Colt pistol bullets are not the same thing) to firing 7.92Mm Mauser rifle bullets is "reducing the lethality". In fact, this is impossible. Large calibers are used for black powder firearms. The reason is that the black powder burns incompletely and cannot release sufficient energy. It also leaves obvious residues. Large calibers are easy to clean. Smokeless powder bullets replace black powder bullets. This is a development trend. There is no need to still choose large-caliber rifle bullets (12.7 Mm bullets in the United States and the Soviet Union are dedicated machine gun bullets and are not used as individual weapons). About the Maxim heavy machine gun, the author also wrote that an error was that the cooling water needed to be replaced manually. In fact, the cooling water of the water-cooled heavy machine gun can be circulated. If it is not enough, you only need to add additional water. As for the two novels, after mentioning smokeless gunpowder technology, the problems are exactly the same. To put it simply, use whichever weapon is well-known, and whichever weapon you are obsessed with. As for logistics, versatility, bullets, production conditions... And a series of other factors, the author barely considers them. The result is obvious, and many plots cannot be watched, especially those who understand technology. For example, explosive reactive armor appears in the plot. According to the author's description, it seems that this defense is omnipotent. In fact, the explosion reaction will also affect the vehicle's defense. If the M113 armored vehicle that appears in the novel is equipped with this kind of defensive armor, it will be scrapped as soon as it explodes. What is most needed is composite armor, such as those installed on the surface of the third-generation post-war tanks that began with the T-72 tank. (Another aside, in this novel, the author equips the protagonist's country's army with Panther tanks. I wrote a comment: It is recommended to equip the Leopard 1 tank, which is easier to repair than the Panther. As a result, someone replied that the Leopard 1 was fragile and inappropriate. In fact, when the Leopard 1 tank was born, the anti-tank missile Bombs and armor-piercing bullets have been developed to a great extent. As long as it is pure steel defense, even if you bring in Tiger and Leopard tanks, you will still be able to survive a few hits.) That's why I suggest the author continue writing modern historical novels. At least there is a reference to prevent embarrassing plots that could have been avoided. As for the popularity issue after changing the website, just come here and briefly explain it, and we will go over immediately to promote it and support it. If the author still decides to stay at the starting point and write otherworld novels, I will give you three suggestions: First: Check more relevant information, whether it is military or civilian. As long as it is related to the introduction of technological development, you need to check it out. Second: The plot must be significantly changed. For example, in the two current alien novels, the development of the world is entirely driven by the protagonist's country. It will only appear that the officials of other countries are stupid and have no IQ, and the plot will be very embarrassing. Third: It needs as many pictures as possible to explain. It is not easy to use reality as a reference when reading otherworld novels. Therefore, whether it is various maps or various military or civilian products, the more relevant pictures, the better, and the more detailed the better. (As a side note, I don't know when Qidian's computer will be able to post in circles. Typing thousands of words on a mobile phone is really time-consuming and easy to make typos.)
You obviously can unify the world, but you insist on selling weapons to make the world develop multi-polarly. You are crazy. You are promoting war just for the sake of war. Who will be afraid of you in another 100 years?
Nicolas Cage once acted in a movie, Lord of War, in which it was mentioned that the largest arms dealers are actually those five countries, and he is just a white glove doing work for others.
The author recommends you "The Barefoot Doctor's Handbook", "Friends of Dual-Purpose Talents" and "Militia Training Manual". These are three sacred books.
Draw a simple map... You guys can just take a look.
Dresser Needle Gun
Come back, my Third Reich😭 My most proud belief🤓 Akado is vividly in my mind😎 Tears are flowing inexplicably😢 I vaguely remember mg42🪖 Repulse all the enemies💀
Ignore industrial difficulty in order to outsmart your opponents? Can you simply copy equipment without any hands-on instruction, learning, or assistance? You can build the engine just by looking at it? Dreadnought is built just by looking at it? How many disciplines and technologies are related to these equipments? Do authors really not know? In order to outsmart your opponent, do you mindlessly ignore these issues? How many years has the wooden battleship level -> pre-dreadnought level been used?
The author transforms
It can be seen that the author is not good at writing these things at all, and he is not allowed to write about what the author is really good at. I think the Third Reich is really famous. If the author does not transform, this book will probably be the last one. It is very frustrating.
As I read it, I found that I hated this book more and more. I have to say that compared to the last one, your protagonist this time made me hate it very much.
The Colt revolver, Model 1917, is not much different in appearance from the Model 1907. Let's just take a look at it...🤫🤫🤫
Thinking of my Third Reich again😭😭😭
In a game where everyone knows who will win, for the sake of the intense process, the enemy's luck is thoughtlessly mentioned, forcing a 50-50 draw, and for an inevitable ending, forcing one's wits🤔
I had read your book My Third Reich before, but now I suddenly remembered that it was all gone when I searched for it. Qidian had removed all books of this type from the shelves. At that time, I was still very dissatisfied with the ending. However, I thought that after a few years of waiting for so many books of the same type, I would find what I wanted to read. But after a few years, all the books were gone.
I want to say what made the author insist on writing it down. I don't mean to be sarcastic, just out of curiosity.
Problems with weapons in "Chapter 590 Ammunition Models":
1. The AK-47 assault rifle is outdated. AK-47 was equipped with the Soviet army on a large scale in 1953 and was replaced by AKM in 1959. The earliest model of AK-47 was produced by stamping, but quality problems occurred at the time, and it was later changed to steel milling production. Grooves are also punched out on the receiver to reduce weight. Moreover, steel milling also has the problem of wasting material. Until AKM started, the switch was made to 1 mm thick steel plate stamping, which solved the problems of production speed and waste of raw materials. In addition, the AKM's butt is straighter than that of the AK-47. Later, a muzzle anti-bounce device and a plastic magazine were added to improve the accuracy of fully automatic shooting and further reduce weight. The previous steel magazine was strong, but heavy. Most of the "AK-47s" we call now are actually AKMs. But after all, AKM still uses intermediate-power rifle bullets. The recoil of this bullet is easier to control than full-power rifle bullets, and it is suitable for fully automatic shooting. However, its lethality within the effective range is not as good as that of small-caliber rifle bullets, and its trajectory is not as straight as that of small-caliber rifle bullets. Although the mid-power rifle bullet has stronger wind deflection resistance than the small-caliber rifle bullet after exceeding the effective range, it is not as good as the full-power rifle bullet in terms of range and accuracy, leaving it in an awkward position. This is the reason why AK-74 was later launched. Compared with AKM, AK-74 modified the air guide hole, from drilling at a 45-degree angle to drilling at a vertical angle, which simplified production. A muzzle brake is also added to further improve the accuracy of fully automatic shooting. The author chose the AK rifle. Instead of using the AK-47, it is better to start with the AK-74. If the author insists on choosing AK-47, it is recommended to use Finnish and Israeli models, namely RK-62 and Galil rifles. Except that it is a bit heavy, everything else is acceptable, especially the problem of the short aiming baseline of the AK-47 is solved. The structure of the AK rifle is simple, but production is not simple. Especially the Soviet Union's own AK, the materials used are not ambiguous at all. There is also the complex shape of the AK bolt, which is more time-consuming to process than rifles from European and American countries. If the author insists on looking for a rifle that is easy to machine, he would use the AR-18, which is the rifle used by the T-800 when it swept through the police station in the movie "Terminator". Made of all steel stamping, the bolt has a very simple appearance and is faster to process. Also, it is best to develop extended models of firearms, whether it is AK-47, M16 or AUG, because the pressure on logistics is lower. Russia also has rifles such as AN94 and AEK-971, which are more accurate than AK. However, AK series rifles are still widely equipped because they do not require major modifications to the production line. This is also the reason for rifles such as M16, AUG and G36. Even the HK416, compared with the M4A1, mainly modified the gas guide. If the author plans to jump from Soviet weapons to weapons from other countries such as American weapons or German weapons, a new production line will need to be built, and the cost will be higher. 2. Compared with MAG and PKM, the MG-42 general machine gun seems very backward. This gun uses a tube-retractable structure, so the accuracy is not high. The cooling sleeve around the barrel makes the machine gun front-heavy and light-weight. To solve this problem, a pencil tube was used, which is a gun barrel with a very thin wall. But the MG-42's machine gun fires too fast, which places high demands on shooters. Moreover, the excessively fast rate of fire makes the barrel, which has a thin wall, easily get hot. However, the MG-42 did a very bad job of replacing the barrel. The barrel of this machine gun not only has no handle, but is also very smooth. The shooter can only grasp the hot barrel with a rag or insulated gloves. This method of replacing the barrel is more troublesome than the Bren machine gun, not to mention the MAG. Although you can use a hook to hook out the barrel, you can also deflect the gun body and pour it out. But when you want to put the barrel into the barrel box, you must pick up the barrel, which requires a rag or heat-resistant gloves. As for the MG3 general-purpose machine gun launched by the Federal Republic of Germany in the 1960s, except for solving the shortcoming of excessive fire rate, other shortcomings have been almost unchanged. As for until now, the German army is still equipped with MG3. There is only one reason: they have no money. MG-42 was very well-known during World War II and received good reviews. One of the reasons is that during World War II, no country except Germany had a general-purpose machine gun. Another reason is that the MG-42 is described too strongly in movies with a World War II background. Of course, the MG-42 and the improved MG3 have many problems, but it cannot be said that they are completely useless. In contrast, the gas guide problem of the American M60 general machine gun has not been solved yet. Moreover, changing the barrel of the early model M60 is more troublesome than that of the MG3. As for Japan's Type 62 general-purpose machine gun, it is a complete mess. 3. The 7.92×57Mm Mauser rifle cartridge can be replaced. During the Cold War, ammunition for general-purpose machine guns and sniper rifles in NATO countries were unified into 7.62×51Mm rifle ammunition, and ammunition for general-purpose machine guns and sniper rifles in Warsaw Pact countries were unified into 7.62×54Mm R rifle ammunition. So, as long as the author wants to write about firearms during the Cold War, no matter which country the gun is from, new bullets must be developed. The 7.92×57Mm Mauser rifle ammunition can be discontinued or all used for export. 4. Lack of large-caliber heavy machine guns and anti-materiel rifles. Large-caliber heavy machine guns are more destructive and lethal than medium-caliber machine guns, and are more suitable for air defense than medium-caliber machine guns. The American anti-aircraft machine gun in World War II was the quadruple Browning M2HB large-caliber heavy machine gun. The roof-mounted machine gun of the Sherman tank was also the Browning M2HB large-caliber heavy machine gun. During the Cold War, it was more difficult to deal with fighter jets and bombers. But dealing with helicopters, there is no pressure. As for the anti-material rifle, it is a weapon that can destroy enemy equipment from a long distance and can also deal with light armored vehicles. 5. There are many models of MP5 submachine guns. I don't know which one the author is talking about. The original prototype gun HK54 of the MP5 was produced in small quantities. Later there was the MP5A1, which was also produced in very small quantities. The models that really started mass production were the MP5A2 and MP5A3. Both have the same structure, 9mm caliber and 30-round ammunition capacity. The main difference is that the MP5A2 has a fixed stock and the MP5A3 has a telescopic stock. Another feature of the early MP5A2 and A3 is the use of metal handguards with a cylindrical cross-section and a grid anti-slip pattern on the surface. The three-round burst function was popular on submachine guns and assault rifles in the 1980s. HK Company followed the trend and launched the MP5A4 and A5 with three-round burst function. The difference between the two is the same as the difference between the A2 and A3, that is, the A4 has a fixed stock and the A5 has a telescopic stock. A4 and A5 use plastic handguards with triangular cross-sections. This kind of handguard can also be installed on A2 and A3. Therefore, the handguard is not the identifying feature of A4 and A5. To identify A4 and A5, you need to see whether it has a three-shot burst function. MP5K is a miniature submachine gun launched by H&K Company in the 1970s. K is the abbreviation of Kurz in German for "short". Structurally, the MP5K is a shortened version of the standard size MP5 submachine gun. It is mainly used as a security weapon for VIPs and can be put into a special holster and hidden in a coat. In order to shorten the length as much as possible and make it easier to carry, the MP5K has greatly shortened the barrel and canceled the butt. In order to stabilize the gun, a vertical front grip is added under the handguard, so that the gun can be held with both hands to shoot. Since the barrel of the gun is too short and the handguard is also very short, in order to prevent the shooter from accidentally extending his hand in front of the muzzle and causing danger, a handguard hook is specially made on the front and bottom of the MP5K handguard to limit the position of the hand. The sub-models of the MP5K include the single-shot/burst-fire MP5KA3, the single-shot/three-shot burst/burst-fire MP5KA4, and the MP5KA1 which cancels the adjustable rear sight and replaces it with a fixed blade rear sight and low front sight. All sub-models have only a front grip and no butt. In order to facilitate portability, the MP5K can also use a 15-round short magazine in addition to the MP5's 30-round curved magazine. The MP5K has a very special improved "briefcase gun", which is designed for security agents who carry concealed weapons. The entire gun is installed in a briefcase. The barrel extends from the side of the briefcase, and the trigger is mounted on the handle. Squeeze the trigger and pull the trigger through the linkage lever to fire. This "briefcase" gun has no aiming mechanism and only uses tracer bullets to indicate the trajectory. The shooter visually inspects the impact point of the bullet and shoots roughly at close range. In the late 1980s, with the rise of the concept of PDW, or individual self-defense weapon, H&K Company improved on the MP5K submachine gun and developed an MP5K-PDW submachine gun. It appropriately lengthens the barrel of the MP5K submachine gun to facilitate the installation of lugs at the barrel mouth for fixing the silencer; since concealed carry is no longer overemphasized, the MP5K-PDW is equipped with a side-folding butt that can be fired over the shoulder. MP5/10 is a 10mm caliber MP5 submachine gun. This type of submachine gun was designed and put into production in 1991 at the request of the FBI, which required the use of quite powerful 10mm automatic pistol ammunition. MP5 MLI's MLI is Mid Life Improvement, the abbreviation of mid-term life improvement, which came out in 2013. It is based on the MP5A5 with a three-round burst fire function. It uses a three-sided rail handguard and a tactical rail on the top of the receiver. It can flexibly install tactical accessories such as photoelectric sights, tactical lights, laser pointers, etc. The appearance has been changed to the trendy sand yellow color in recent years. The rest is the same as the old MP5 submachine gun. The MP5SD silent submachine gun is mainly equipped with special operations units and is used for special operations such as close-range sentry attacks. Compared with other models of MP5 submachine guns, the MP5SD uses a special silenced barrel and does not have a detachable silencer. 6. Artillery problem. In each of the author's novels, there are no specific models of artillery, only calibers, such as 75mm howitzers and 88mm anti-aircraft guns. However, artillery of the same caliber cannot all use the same shells. Germany's Flak36 and Flak40 anti-aircraft guns are both 88mm anti-aircraft guns and are the main guns of the Tiger tank and King Tiger tank respectively. However, the Flak 40 anti-aircraft gun has a larger shell charge and a longer shell. Therefore, the shells of the Flak40 anti-aircraft gun cannot be used with the Flak36 anti-aircraft gun. The German Panzer IV tanks started from the F2 type and switched to the KWK40 tank gun developed from the PAK40 anti-tank gun. However, due to the limitations of the Panzer IV tank, the shells of the KWK40 tank gun have reduced charges and shorter shells. Therefore, the shells of the PAK40 anti-tank gun cannot be used on the Panzer IV tank. The author also wrote about the Wasp self-propelled artillery, which is a self-propelled howitzer modified by using the chassis of the No. 2 Tank to install the leFH18M L/28 howitzer. However, the author only wrote about a 105mm howitzer. The American M2 and M101 howitzers and the Japanese Type 91 howitzer are all 105mm howitzers, and there is no guarantee that the ammunition can be used universally. There is also the Wildbee self-propelled howitzer. This artillery was originally an SFH18 howitzer with a caliber of 150 mm. However, the author has developed a 155mm howitzer, which may not be supported by the chassis. (It's a pity that it's troublesome for Diandianhuan to post pictures, otherwise I would definitely write pictures and texts for the author)
I stayed up late and finished playing The Third Reich
This book is really good, but it's a pity that it's hard to see similar books in the past few years.
Let me talk about my personal opinion. I have played Long Ling's Third Reich several times. It is quite suitable for my taste. By distorting the enemy's technology tree, I can correctly guide the development of my own technology tree, and the policy towards the occupied areas is relatively good. But this book made me uncomfortable to read. The protagonist's early development is limited by the protagonist's previous life experience, which is understandable. But after the establishment of the kingdom, he was still selling his high-end technology, and even brought out airplanes. When you are surrounded by enemies on all sides and lack resources, shouldn't you use your own advantages to quickly seize various resources from other countries? Such as the lighthouse country. Sell your technology to your enemies, powerful enemies. I feel like the protagonist has a tendency to tremble. I feel really uncomfortable watching it
Don't look at it with your brain. In a world with the technological manufacturing level of the 18th century, suddenly you can build an ironclad ship in half a year and a 15-story high-rise building in half a year. Idiot's book
